1983: Degree in Mathematics, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Brescia)
1990: Doctoral Degree, Universit´e de Paris-Sud, Paris,
1987--2000: Research position in Mathematical Physics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Brescia)
2000--2004: Associate professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Brescia.
2004--today: Full professor of Mathematical Physics at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Brescia).

Teaching activity

Rational and Analytical Mechanics, Celestial Mechanics, Continuum Mechanics, Calculus of Variations, Mathematical Modelling, Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Analysis, Probability Theory.

Scientific Interests

Balance laws in Continuum Mechanics and their weak formulation, fields with divergence measure. Concentrated stresses and sources in fluid dynamics and biological elasticity.

Infinite-dimensional dynamical systems, asymptotic properties of the solutions.
